“TEARS OF GLASS” is your first published book. How long did it take you to write it and do you plan any follow ups or additional books?
I
took a year to write, but a couple of years research before I got
down to it.

do you think makes a good story?
One
which keeps the reader absorbed – then enlightens.

Dr.Strangelove
– and authors such as Michael Connelly and Le Carre.
What
are your ambitions for your writing career? Full time? Part time?
Full
time is always the goal.

did you decide to become a writer?
When
I had something to say.
When
writing “TEARS
OF GLASS”
did anything stand out as particularly challenging?
Yes-
The book is based on real events, the bizarre deaths of 22 UK
scientists all working on the US anti-missile programme. Getting all
the background was challenging, especially the CIA detail.
How
did you come up with the story of “TEARS
OF GLASS?”
A combination of reported events around
the end of the cold war and the leaking of nuclear material out of
the old Soviet Block, together with a conversation I overheard in a
London Park between two Whitehall gentlemen. My music business
background is used to overlay the narrative and I have included links
to the original music.
