Intermission
looks like a great book. Do you plan for it to be a stand alone or
are any follow ups or series planned?
-Intermission
was originally conceived as a stand-alone book, however, I have had
enough requests for a sequel that I think it may become a series.
Intermission
has received a much stronger response than any of my previous
publications.
What
do you think makes a great paranormal romance book?
-Give
your readers a real story, something they can believe in. Give them
something that touches their hearts as well as thrills them.
What
inspired you when writing Intermission?
-Truthfully,
Intermission was the story that almost didn’t happen. The first
four chapters were lost in a broken hard drive for nearly a decade. I
threw them up on my DeviantArt account and was surprised by how many
people wanted to read the rest of it! Ultimately, Intermission,
is a modern, adult Grimm’s fairytale…a harrowing jourmey with a
genuinely happy ending.
What
are your ambitions for your writing career? Full time? Part time?
-I
absolutely want to write full-time!
When
did you decide to become a writer?
-Well,
I was actually one of those teenagers who carried a notebook around
everywhere with me. I’ve been doing it a long time. One thing led
to another across the course of my life.
When
writing Intermission
did anything stand out as particularly challenging?
-Finding
a publisher was challenging. It’s a bit of a white elephant…very
unusual.
How
did you come up with the story of Intermission?
-Wow,
believe it or not, that
is the most difficult question here. My “muse” was really
speaking to me on this one. (For instance, the main characters came
into my mind, full-blown, names and all.) I was kind of messing
around with a couple of ideas one day, and the story just started to
flow.
What
do you like to do when not writing?
-Music,
hiking…time with those I Love.
-Jennie
Lee Schade can be found on FaceBook, Twitter, Authorgraph, and I have
an author’s page on Amazon…I look forward to hearing from you.
